The King Of Eyes

When every gaze is open, nowhere feels hidden.

“A study of hyper-awareness, where too many eyes blur the line between perception and surveillance.”

This painting explores what happens when awareness multiplies beyond comfort. The repeated eyes are not decorative — they suggest constant perception, both inward and outward. Seeing too much. Being seen too much.

Eyes are instinctive, almost animalistic. They scan for threat, desire, movement, change. When multiplied, that instinct becomes overwhelming. It is no longer simple observation; it becomes vigilance.

The layering creates tension. There is no single point of focus. Instead, the gaze fragments. Identity feels split between watcher and watched. The face holds intensity, but not clarity.

This piece sits with the weight of perception. Awareness can be power, but it also creates exposure. When everything is seen, nothing feels private. The question becomes: is this heightened vision protection, or is it a trap of constant alertness?

It does not resolve that tension. It simply holds it.
